An international logistics company in full and rapid expansion mode is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to reinforce their team in Antwerp.

Your main tasks as Accounting Manager:

  • Analysis of financial information;
  • Verification and allocation of suppliers’ invoices;
  • Managing cash flow statements;
  • Cash management, follow-up of payments and transactions;
  • Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures;
  • Follow up payment and transaction;
  • VAT declarations;
  • Balance sheet preparation, depreciations, checking and monitoring social regulations and charges;
  • Intercompany transactions follow-up;
  • Preparation and verification of the financial statements and additional documents;
  • Directing internal audits to ensure compliance, producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results;
  • Diverse administrative ad hoc tasks;
  • Follow-up of the day-to-day bank reconciliation;
  • Relation with local banks ;
  • Absences and holiday planning ;
  • Support of the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Master’s degree in accounting, coupled with 5 years of experience in a senior Accounting position;
  • Experience in HR is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Cargowise is an advantage;
  • Being a change agent;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus;
  • Excellent communicator on different levels;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines and keeps a helicopter view;
  • Analytical, structured and detail-oriented.
