Zoetis Veterinary Medicine Research and Development, Analytical Sciences LLN, BE is seeking a bachelor’s in biology (or equivalent) at the Associate Scientist level.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety requirements and corporate policies.
  • Clinical and process sample testing across a variety of projects using in-house or commercial assays.
  • Participation in assay development, validation, and transfer activities to different labs e.g., QC.
  • Documentation, reporting, and communication of results in laboratory notebooks, technical reports, PowerPoint presentations and oral presentations.
  • Manage inventory of reagents and provide support for equipment maintenance/calibration.
  • Represent Analytical Sciences at meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in biology, laboratory sciences or other related discipline.

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Experience of analytical methods including ELISA’s and PCR would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Softmax Pro software would be an advantage.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in French and in English.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team by organizing, coordinating, and prioritizing work effectively.
