Business Controller - Brussels

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Business Controllerfor a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in theICT sector.

As Business Controller you will beresponsible for:

• Responsible for annual budgets, forecasting, estimates and follow-up of targets, analyze and help remediate differences;
• Efficiently and effectively support the strategic process, highlight risks, opportunities and corrective action;
• Engage with the organization by supplying and discussing relevant business information;
• Support and represent finance in projects, including product & process related projects as well as country initiatives;
• Track business financial KPI’s and provide insight and recommendations;
• Contribute to projects within finance and business organization;
• Develop and supervise the creation of reporting, dashboard for the CFO, management team, Board;
• Analyse sales related activities, formulate recommendations;
• Follow up of direct and indirect costs;
• Manage the headcount and related costs, propose systems and procedures;
• Recruitment data on a weekly/monthly basis against targets;
• Follow up on capex;
• Implement standardized templates, reports, to simplify and have compliant processes;
• Development of financial models for projects, building models for budgeting, forecasting, investment decisions;
• Various financial analysis according to the needs of the service.

The requiredprofile for theBusiness Controller position:

• You have a Master degree in an Accounting, Finance or an Economics orientation;
• You have a proven working experience as Business Controller or auditor in a Big 4 environment or other relevant domain;
• You have strong IT skills and you are expert in Excel, with excellent knowledge of formulas, charts and pivot tables;
• Experience in controlling systems is a plus;
• You have a strong interest in accounting and processes;
• You can work accurately and you have an analytical mind-set;
• You are proactive and communicate effectively;
• You are a team player, inside the finance department and the business;
• You have good problem solving capacities;
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch/French and English;
• You report to the CFO.
