As we are fully embarking on our transformation, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can bring data-driven decision-making and consumer-centricity to the table to support our transition to smoke-free products in the Benelux.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Working with data analytics to get actionable insights out of big data sets;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure quality assurance & proper governance;
  • Driving profitability through pro-actively identifying opportunities and mitigating threats;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues in a project-based environment, which means participating and collaborating with various stakeholders and project groups to gather and prioritize the information required;
  • Contributing to the Benelux strategy through scenario and predictive modelling, data mining and insights.

You:
  • You hold a Master’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience (consultancy, finance, business intelligence, science and / or data analytics);
  • Demonstrated in depth knowledge on IT Systems, modelling and data flows will be an asset
  • You acquired hands-on experience in using visualization tools (such as Power BI and/or Tableau);
  • You are known as a pro-active problem solver with strong analytical skills;
  • You know how to set priorities;
  • You love statistics, commercial intelligence, market research, business planning and/or business analytics;
  • You get energy from sharing actionable insights in a clear and visually appealing way;
  • It would be great if you have a thorough understanding of data mining and predictive modelling for analytics.

What will the selection process look like?
Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews.
In parallel, you will be asked to complete online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development.

  • Assessment Tests
The tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests for this role is a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying. Results are therefore not used for purposes of performance evaluation.
  • Cognitive Ability Test: Report links under three headings:
1. Deductive reasoning (measuring the ability drawing logical conclusions)
2. Inductive reasoning (measuring conceptual and analytical thinking)
3. Numerical reasoning (measuring capacity to understand numerical data and interpret mathematical information correctly)
