About the job

Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our digital services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will act as Business Operations Analyst subject matter expert, supporting and streamlining a wide set of processes to strengthen ACQ Directorate ability to deliver services at cost, on time and with expected quality.

This is a transverse role both within the ACQ Directorate and within the Agency that will give you the opportunity to have an Agency-wide view and collaborate regularly with all organisational elements (e.g. Service Lines, Finance, HR, Internal Audit, and Executive Management).

As the subject matter expert, you will:

  • Lead corporate planning, reporting, and monitoring of all ACQ business-related activities, including as well workforce, resources, and training,
  • Lead reporting activities related to planning and monitoring of ACQ solicitations and cooperation with Industry and Not For Profit organizations,
  • Standardise, and refine ACQ services and delivery processes,
  • Setup and administrate various agreements with internal or external customers for ACQ services delivery,
  • Set-up, manage, and improve the ACQ Directorate risk management plan,
  • Lead ACQ engagements with internal and external audit. Prepare, report on and monitor the corrective actions plans,
  • Deputize for higher-grade staff as required.

About you

We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Business Operations Analyst professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and 2 years of post-related experience.

A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience will also be considered.

You need to demonstrated experience at a similar level of responsibility in performing equivalent duties and in disciplines related to this post (e.g. Contracts Management, Project Management, Project/Program Support Management, Service Delivery Management, Acquisition Management, Life Cycle management, resource management, etc.). Experience in building reports, statistics or KPIs from various data sources in order to provide upper management with synthetic overview of business operations is essential.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
