Business Process Engineer

Background
Within the Service division of Compressor Technique, our strategic focus is to achieve optimal availability of components and services such that our clients can be serviced adequately and in time. As we are heavily investing in IoT and digital services, we focus on digital acceleration by connecting compressors to the cloud.

Today we have more than 200,000 compressors connected to the cloud which are generating valuable data to optimize service intervals and increase sales leads. To successfully deliver the daily demand for 10,000 aftermarket orders we rely on a strong organization of the supply chain therefore it is crucial to continuously invest in existing and new supplier relationships and product innovations.

Mission
You are responsible to manage and optimize the purchasing applications (e.g. online supplier platforms, spend analysis tools, etc.) used in the purchasing department. You develop digital solutions to automate and support the purchasing team considering the Purchase to Pay aspects. You support the development of a full product lifecycle management system across entities. In this role, you will contribute to the successful deployment of master data management and the migration to SAP globally.

Tasks and responsibilities

• You develop your digital purchasing strategy in line with the divisional targets and contribute to realizing the digital transformation of our supply chain processes
• You guide the purchasing team in the transformation to SAP
• You support the development of a product lifecycle management system
• You lead automatization projects to simplify the Purchase to Pay procedures
• You work closely with purchasing team as ‘users’ on digital improvements
• You actively participate in IT projects for purchasing applications to meet project budgets and timings
• You evaluate modifications in the different applications to safeguard performance for the buyers
• You manage system security and train internal stakeholders
• You align on data management by analyzing data flows and procedures to contribute to master data governance

You will join an inclusive team of Buyers and Business Process Experts and report directly to the Team Leader.

Experience and technical requirements

• You have a master’s degree or experience in IT projects
• You are fluent in English, good understanding of other European languages is a plus
• You are passionate about technology, data management and IT solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 (including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint), knowledge of AS400, SAP or SQL is a plus
