For years, Rhenus Automotive Logistics was known as one of the largest supply companies of Ford Genk. Because of the closure of Ford, Rhenus Automotive Logistics had to temporarily fold back. In recent years, however, Rhenus Automotive Logistics has developed into an ambitious and promising growth company.

Function

  • You will work your way into the existing Production Traceability System (PTS), which is written in C++ (client + server) which is used to control the production lines in our warehouses.
  • Within the growing branch ’Automotive’ of Rhenus Automotive Logistics, you will take part in challenging IT projects.
  • You will be given a lot of responsibility and will be involved in a wide range of projects.
  • As analyst-programmer you register and analyse bottlenecks, think in terms of solutions and then tackle the problems.
  • You are part of the growing IT team in Genk and report to the Head of Production Systems.

Profile

  • You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in an ICT-direction.
  • Thorough knowledge of RDBMS systems such as Oracle and SQL server.
  • Required knowledge of visual studio C++ or a comparable OO-language like C# with the willingness to learn legacy-C++.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, PHP, JSON, XML.
  • Next to having an analytical mindset, you are flexible and eager to learn.
  • You are a real team player but you also dare to come up with your own proposals. You know how to tackle problems.
