You will strengthen ABB Electrification BeLux. Our goal is to lay the foundation for the future of smarter, reliable and emission-free society. We do this from our Zaventem or Gent office in Belgium also taking the responsibility for the Luxemburg market.

Will you help ABB Electrification help its clients in their transition towards a zero emission world?

You will be accountable for EPC’s, installers, OEM’s & Industrial End-users and assist customers with their projects. Additionally, you also will be responsible to lead the Smart Industry team, to coach people, deliver the targets and grow the segments within your domain.

Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

Your responsibilities
  • Defines and implements the channel sales strategy and budget and ensures regular follow-up. Responsible for providing channel strategy input for the Sales team, and for harmonizing the market sales and marketing plans
  • Defines key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) and ensures these are achieved for the channel in the specified market. Ensures detailed business plans with regular follow up are in place
  • Contributes in critical sales and key frame agreements negotiations. Supports Sales Specialist in the offering and proposal process for channel partners
  • Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
  • You provide technical support and detailed clarification during product presentations and technical meetings with our customers when requested
  • You actively manage your own customer portfolio
  • You perform analysis on the needs of our customers, and keep track on market developments in our field
  • You regularly visit the local customers in need of expert support as well as trade fairs.
Your background
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical domain (e.g. energy, electronics, electro mechanics, …)
  • You have a deep knowledge within the Industrial End User/OEM market, more specifically Low Voltage products and machine/process automation
  • You want to grow and develop yourself while driving a disruptive technology with significant social return
  • You have a similar experience, in a technical-commercial role within a high-tech environment
  • You have the experience of leading and coaching a team
  • You are hands-on, flexible, determined and can work independently
  • You love to work in a challenging, complex, international environment
  • You have excellent analytical and communication skills
  • You are willing to travel within the BeLux when needed
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
