Chapter Lead - Delivery
We are looking to hire a Chapter Lead Delivery for our offices in Brussels.
Our IT department is a privileged partner to support the business strategy.
The role includes both leading direct delivery (Agile project and Project Management) and managing a team. The delivery side will include a mix of executive reporting, financials, prioritization, departmental planning, setting the guardrails for delivery, rolling out delivery tooling and measuring delivery capability.
The team management side will be responsible for a team of around 10 people : Scrum profiles and Project Managers. This will involve coaching people in their tasks and personal development, growing capability, growing unity, open communication, resource allocation, overseeing the guardrails and best practices, and enabling continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate must be a Scrum specialist, a self-starter, high performer and able to embrace change in a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities :
As a Chapter Lead, you are responsible to hire, coach, and motivate team members of your chapter in order to build a group of talented Delivery and Project Managers that can deliver value in their tasks.
- Manage capacity of the chapter:
- Process capacity requests of Customer Delivery Lead
- Identify / solve future capacity gaps in collaboration with Development Manager
- Identify best practices in ways of working
- Drive standardization actions / projects throughout the chapter
- Work in collaboration with the Product Owners, the other Chapters of the IT department
- You are a cultural ambassador of the "new" agile culture. With the following strong emphasis for this role:

Your profile
- You have a master’s degree and have at least ten years of experience
- You have the ability to motivate the Chapter (team) towards using Agile principles
- You are preferably Scrum Master
- You have in-depth knowledge of project management in Agile mode
- You like thoroughness and successful work
- Solution oriented
- You can take advantage of several great experiences.
- You have an analytical mind and understand the issues.
- You are organized and inspiring, you have experience of team management
- You have knowledge of banking professions
- You have an acute perception of the means and methods
- You are positive in nature and have an active listening and synthesis capacity
- You enjoy yourself in a dynamic context that requires energy and resistance to stress
