An international retail company is currently looking to hire a Chief Accountant to join their office in the West of Brussels. Thanks to your experience in accounting, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it.

Your main responsibilities as the new Chief Accountant will include:

  • Oversee general accounting, which includes accounts, reports and analysis preparation
  • Develop and implement new processes
  • Ensure the compliance, reporting and closing
  • Manage and supervise a team of 4-5 accountants

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • You have at least 6 years of experience and a first relevant experience as a chief accountant
  • You are fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of English and basic in French

Your strengths:

  • Excellent people management skills
  • You are solution minded and have an experience of ERP software
