As a Commercial Officer in the Private Wealth Management team, you will implement the commercial and operational initiatives of the Private Bankers team. In coordination with the assistants and the private bankers, you will ensure a perfect service to the clients.
  • You will act as a liaison between the private bankers and both the clients and the internal teams;
  • As part of the team’s leadership, you are a key contributor to the collective game, the sharing of experience and best practices as well as the structuring of common initiatives within the team;
  • You also play an important role in prospecting and attracting new clients;
You help private bankers to make appointments, prepare interviews and follow up on action points;
  • You detect commercial opportunities and make a (pro)active contribution to the retention and development policy;
  • You will assist in the creation of content and the formatting of presentations, in consultation with the Products & Solutions teams;
  • You ensure an efficient operational commercial follow-up. You will prepare all necessary documentation relating to accounts (to be opened) and customer contracts (prior to customer visits or for digital or postal dispatch) in collaboration with the sales assistants, and you will ensure that they are followed up. You ensure that they are always up to date. You also take care of the necessary entries and updates in the CRM system;
  • You participate in the preparation of credit applications and periodic reviews of such files as well as interacting with the insurance brokerage and Wealth Planning teams;
  • In the event of a complaint or problem, you will inform the Wealth Manager and/or your line manager. You work closely with your colleagues in Business Support, Middle and Back Offices to resolve them as quickly as possible. If a structural problem arises, you will help to find a solution and implement it.

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree, specialising in Finance/Economics/Law or a Management Engineer/Business School;
  • You have a minimum of one year experience in a banking environment;
  • You are fluent in French, have a good command of English at a professional level and may have a basic knowledge of Dutch;
  • You have a good command of MS Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) and banking applications;
  • You are familiar with Mifid II and AML compliance rules;
  • You have a good knowledge of banking products and financial markets;
  • You have commercial talent and a passion for working with clients;
  • You are service and customer oriented, but also risk aware;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are well organised in your work, punctual, conscientious and precise;
  • You have a sense of responsibility for the quality of the work done and the results to be achieved;
  • You are able to work independently and take initiative, but at the same time you are a real team player;
  • You are stress resistant and flexible.
