WHO YOU ARE
As a person you have the ability to comfortably support and influence business leaders and colleagues with the business goals and co-workers in focus. You have a proactive attitude in problem solving and hands-on approach when necessary. You demonstrate leadership skills, by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions. As a person you have the ability to understand the role of communication as an integrated part of the business and you communicate in an inspirational way on all levels: tone of voice, both verbally, visually and in writing. Furthermore you have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships.

We are looking for you who are passionate about communication as a business enabler . You are motivated to find better ways of working and you are open to change. Furthermore you get energized by working both independently and interdependently with communication cross functions and you appreciate to turn communication theory into practice.

We believe that you have proven advanced training in Communications or equivalent and 2-5 years of both external and internal communication experience. You have experience working with tactical communication with a main focus on operational communication. Change communication is a plus.

- Digital minded, capable to work in an Agile environment .
- Open to work in a co-creation and collaborative eco system.
- Bilingual NL and FR and very good knowledge of English

You have knowledge in following areas:

· knowledge of using insights to formulate communication activities to drive IKEA business and meet receiver needs
· on how to follow-up and evaluate communication activities
· knowledge of how to lead communication by defining, planning, executing and follow-up communication to relevant stakeholders, always keeping co-workers informed, engaged and empowered
knowledge of digital communication channels, management and techniques
· up-to-date knowledge of the media landscape (including the latest trends in social media), activation and measurements
