About the job

APK Group is currently looking for a concrete sawyer. As a concrete sawyer you are responsible for sawing floors and finishing/updating assignments. You are also responsible for carrying out checks and measuring the work carried out.
Some of your tasks:
  • Floor sawing in fresh concrete
  • Finishing and touching up jobs (touching up corners, filling in socket holes, removing cement paste, etc.)
  • You work daily with a hand-held and floor saw
  • Performing basic maintenance on used equipment
  • Carry out final inspection at the yard
  • Measuring the work carried out
You will start from our branch in Bilzen. From there, you will be deployed at the various sites as a concrete sawyer for sawing work on infrastructure components (embankments/concrete roadways). You are very flexible when it comes to working hours: weekend work, evening work and sporadic night work are no problem for you.

Your profile

  • You are flexible towards working hours
  • Starting early, working on Saturdays, evening or night work: you see the benefits and enjoy doing it
  • You have a good knowledge of the Dutch language
  • You are physically fit and like outdoor work
  • You work accurately
  • You like to work independently, you are usually alone on the job
  • Experience in road construction or concrete construction is a plus
  • Technical insight a must
  • Driving Licence C
  • VCA certificate (or willing to obtain one)
  • You have a good knowledge of the Dutch language
