What’s in it for you?


You’ll get to join our CFO in a relatively greenfield environment where you’ll help to set up and improve how we do business at VaultSpeed.


Whilst there are already processes in place, we want to reach higher levels; we’d like to automate in a more elaborate way.


Once you’re up to speed, you’ll be given a lot of autonomy, Filip will be there to support you but you’ll have the ability to drive improvements yourself.

A deeper dive into the details


Monthly close:

  • Reporting & analysis
  • Accounting close (BE, Lithuania, US), including some consolidation entries
  • Variance analysis (actual vs budget or forecast)
  • Communicate about results with budget owners
  • Prepare monthly reporting packs


Planning processes:

  • Support budget & forecast preparation -> Excel model update + intake budget input from budget owners
  • Prepare budget presentation
  • Follow-up on OKR’s and individual targets


Business as usual:

  • Accounting processes
  • Intercompany invoicing in line with transfer pricing
  • Review of sales contracting + external invoicing
  • Lease: Fleet management
  • Credit & collections:
  • For new contract: motivate sales persons to collect new deals
  • For renewals: send dunning letters
  • Legal: Contract management
  • Finance business partner for budget owners
  • FX rate updates
  • Finance review of new contracts
  • Check some purchase invoices


Structural set-up:

  • Report development & distribution: Excel & PowerBI
  • Data quality control & improvement
  • Structure & automate administrative processes where possible


About you:


  • You’ll ideally have around 3 years experience in a similar role
  • You’ll have a degree in Economics
  • You’ll have experience with PowerBI
  • You’ll be fluent in English and NL
  • You are detail orientated
  • You’re able to work autonomously
