Hays is actively looking for an Accounting Manager in Vilvoorde:

For an international company located in Vilvoorde, Hays is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team.
As Accounting Manager, you supervise the accounting team to ensure that the accounting procedures meet the deadlines and are accurate. You manage the overall closing processes and set up the new closing procedures as well as managing the external auditing.
You monitor compliance with VAT regulations, maintain timely and accurate filing of annual income tax returns. You guarantee that accounting records are kept in accordance with the local GAAP and IFRS. You ensure that the internal control processes are in line with the rules of the group and propose potential improvements. You coordinate and prepare the quarterly and annual consolidation process.
The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in finance/accounting & tax and at least 10 years’ experience in accounting in an international environment. You speak Englishfluently and French or Dutch. Any other European language is a plus. You are accurate, have good planning skills and can work autonomously. You have great people management skills and a strong affinity with IT tools.
