Our Finance team is currently looking for an Accounting Manager.

As Accounting Manageryou will be responsiblefor:

· Supervise and coach a team of 3 people (accountant, billing agent and technical calculator);

· Supervise the work executed by the Group A/P shared service center;

· Manage the billing process;

· Supervise that all financial accountancy work is carried out correctly to ensure that correct postings are secured and that the financial reports are reflecting the company’s actual situation;

· Supervise banking process: ensure compliance with company’s guidelines and follow up of daily cash transactions and balances;

· Secure compliance of company’s accounting processes with BE-GAAP, IFRS-GAAP, corporate tax, transfer pricing regulations and group internal audit guidelines;

· Prepare & submit timely and accurate monthly, quarterly & yearly closings according to BE-GAAP and IFRS-GAAP in close collaboration with the Controlling Manager and the Group consolidation department in France;

· Coordinate, prepare and assist audits by statutory, external and internal auditors;

· Propose and implement actions to simplify and optimize the accounting processes;

· Prepare VAT, Intrastat, income tax and other legal statutory reportings in close collaboration with the finance manager;

· Prepare ad hoc reports based on current needs and/or requests in close collaboration with the controlling or finance manager.

Profil

The required profilefor the Accounting Manager position:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting;

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;

· French or Dutch speaker combined with a working knowledge of Dutch or French and English;

· Experienced SAP-user (FI, CO, MM);

· Experience with reporting tools (eg BusinessObject Financial and Consolidation (BFC), ¿) is an asset;

• Excel literate;

· Strong analytical skills and good communicator;

· Team player but able to work autonomously;

• Good coaching skills;

· Stress resistant, accurate, deadline minded;

· Hands-on mentality & problem solver.
