What does this job entail?

Do you want to get a deep insight in the world of fund management and financial risk management? Then apply for an internship in the Product Risk Team of KBC Asset Management (KBC AM), an internationally organised team of skilled professionals who are responsible for managing the financial risks of the investment products that KBC AM offers.

What do we expect from you?

You will get involved in various tasks and projects in this team, including analysing financial risks, stress testing, conceiving or validating various quantitative models, and challenging the design of new products from a risk perspective.

Here are a few examples of ongoing projects and tasks

  • Fund management based upon Artificial Intelligence
  • MIFID proof risk assessing and scoring of investment products
  • Implementation of the risks elements of PRIIPS
  • Risk monitoring, stress testing
  • Liquidity risk management

Your key strenghts?

  • Numerical background
  • Programming experience in Matlab, Python, or another programming language
  • Good proficiency of spoken and written English, as this is our language of communication
