The Zoetis Treasury Division is a global team of 13 colleagues responsible for managing the company’s Treasury related activities and providing value added support to Finance Management. The Treasury vision includes the centralization of all treasury activities across the company into one global footprint, leveraging a global set of systems, banking platforms and processes.

The Zoetis Treasury Center, a global treasury center for the company, consisting of seven professionals, provides full corporate treasury and in-house bank services to affiliates around the world, including management of the company’s global foreign exchange programs and corporate investment portfolio as well as the inter-company netting, cash management and inter-company funding & deposits programs.

This role is responsible for supporting the treasury operations of the Zoetis Treasury Center, as well as certain Zoetis subsidiaries in the Europe, Africa and Middle East region. This includes daily liquidity management, bank account management and rationalization, treasury-related payment initiation, process improvements and support to certain treasury projects, as well as SOX and regulatory compliance.

The position is based in Zaventem, Belgium.

• Daily treasury operations
  • Initiate and/or approve treasury-related payments
  • Manage account liquidity in their respective regions and invest surplus cash where required
  • Settlement and confirmation of deals (FX and other) and follow-up with stakeholders, as required
  • Co-manage intercompany netting program, including settlements
  • Ensure all activities are accurately captured in the company’s Treasury Management System
• Bank account management
  • Maintenance of appropriate signers on accounts
  • Management of bank account services
  • Analysis of bank services to assess fees and service quality
  • Provision of support for business with regards to banking needs, account structure and services
• System administration for banking portals
  • Maintain service levels for responding to customer request for additions, deletions and entitlement changes
• SOX and other compliance activities
  • Ensure SOX compliance in all daily activities
  • Coordinate activities around certain periodic SOX controls
  • Manage KYC requests from banks and other providers
  • Ensure compliance with EMIR reporting
  • Provide necessary support in response audit requests on cash management activities
• Support of Treasury projects
  • Provide assistance on projects as required
  • Continually search for opportunities to improve processes related to Treasury Operations
  • Development and maintenance of Business Continuity plan

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Treasury organizations, including cash management (deposits, payments, sweeps and funding)
• Experience working with Treasury Management systems and banking platforms
• Familiarity with daily operations of a corporate Treasury organization
