You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources. In addition, you will offer recommendations for integrated commercial plans, develop and execute marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, and share objectives. What you need to know about this position:This exciting role is responsible for leading the beauty and complexity of Pralines and Seasonal Chocolates in Belgium and the Netherlands. In this role you will be managing praline and seasonal portfolios of three exciting brands: Côte d’Or, Milka and Toblerone. This role has full responsibility for P&L, business support, developing and ensuring flawless execution of marketing plans and a fair amount of NPDs in the praline and seasonal segment in Belgium and the Netherlands. You’ll work to help our brands stay relevant to consumers by developing and activating brand plans that capture their imagination, passion and loyalty.You will report to the Senior Brand Manager Confectionary Benelux. You will be based in Mechelen, Belgium.What extra ingredients you will bring:This role requires independence and autonomy but also a great collaboration spirit. You will be a true in-place partner to Benelux Sales and Category Planning teams, need to be able to provide valuable inputs to Demand Planning as well as manage agencies on a day-to-day basis.You must be familiar with P&L and possess strong project management skills. You should have good marketing school and be able to demonstrate creativity both in developing campaigns as well as in running the business.We welcome enthusiasm, can-do attitude and positive approach to problem solving and business challengesEnglish language is a must, French and Dutch would be beneficial.Education / Certifications:Relevant degree from a similar field.Job specific requirements:
  • Be business owner accountable for P&L delivery of the respective segments in Belgium and the Netherlands
  • Own your demand plan
  • Briefing and managing of our creative and media agencies to obtain best-in-class communications and designs
  • Focus on growing the core business while launching and supporting winning innovations
  • Coordinate activation plans with Category Planning team on a systematic basis
  • Lead the taskforces in BE and NL
  • Provide business updates to Category Meetings
  • Analyze in-depth the market performance and consumer insights data (Nielsen, Kantar) and suggest improvements
  • Manage budget properly
