HAYS IT is assisting one of their clients, an established company active in the environmental and soil analysis sector, in their search for a freelance Business Analyst (+/- 2 years experience). This opportunity is based in Zelzate.

Duration: 6 months with a possible extension

Remote work: Maximum 1-2 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing reporting processes within the organization to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Propose concrete improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate their needs into feasible solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of new working methods and ensure organizational alignment.
  • Evaluate the impact of implemented improvements and make adjustments as needed.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economic, technical, or analytical field.
  • Strong interest in process analysis, optimization, and reporting.
  • Critical thinker with a curious and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience with change management or implementation projects is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
