Due to an internal shift, the role as Chief Accountant in a Belgian mobility organisation is available, this highly varied role involves working in a supportive and enthusiastic team in Zwijndrecht. You will be ultimately responsible for the accounting and payment processes. Together with your team, you will ensure the efficient operation of the accounting service.

Your Main Responsibilities As Chief Accountant

  • Manage a team of 10 people who are responsible for the daily accounting activities for serval entities.
  • Ensure the monthly input for the monthly and quarterly reports are accurate, timely and flawless.
  • Focus on implementing structures and procedures
  • Involved in coordination and solving technical questions and assisting in the finalisation of annual accounts
  • Liaising with the auditors’ office
  • Advising the financial director to whom you report

Required Profile For The Role As Chief Accountant

  • A master or bachelor’s degree with a few years of experience in leading and motivate a team
  • A few years’experience in a similarrole, preferably in a medium-sizedcompany
  • Great communicator, highly motivated professional with a positive outlook
  • Persistent and able to buildgood and interactiveworkingrelationship
  • Fluent in Dutch
