As the ideal candidate, you are a skilled Civil Engineer with substantial experience in civil construction specific to pharmaceutical facilities. You possess strong coordination capabilities and demonstrate expertise in tackling complex engineering challenges.

  • You oversee the planning, design, and execution of all civil construction activities from a client perspective.
  • You interact daily with engineering teams, construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project schedules.
  • You review technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications related to civil works.
  • You coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of design and execution.
  • You ensure that all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, environmental & quality standards.
  • You conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution of any concerns.
  • You identify and mitigate any risks associated with civil works and propose solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • You prepare and maintain reports on project status, including progress, issues, and changes in scope.
  • You facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients regarding civil engineering-related issues.
  • You review and approve change orders and ensure that modifications to the scope are documented and managed appropriately.
  • You provide technical support to the construction team, ensuring that engineering solutions are practical and cost-effective.
  • You oversee quality control procedures, ensuring that all construction work meets required engineering standards and specifications.

Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • You possess strong knowledge of civil construction methods and best practices.
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills.
  • You can interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • You demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • You can work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You are open to a full-time position with regular site visits required.
  • You may occasionally need to travel for meetings.
  • You will work on-site as remote work is not possible.
