Content (Senior) Manager Valitax

Little over a year ago, EY acquired start-up VALITAX (www.ey.com/be/valitax) and entered into the VAT determination space with its very own cloud tax engine. Since the acquisition, the team has worked hard to continue building out the engine and integrating it into the EY ecosystem. As a result of the progress made, we are looking for a number of people who are passionate about tax engines or want to learn about them, to join our unique team of pioneers at these exciting times.
As the tax content is the very heart of a tax engine, we have decided to recruit a content manager to take responsibility for the overall quality of the content and manage our existing content team.

Your key responsibilities

• 
  Be responsible for the content gathering and validation process of all elements of EY VALITAX, working with the central content team as well as with the EY Indirect Tax network rolling out EY VALITAX into new territories
• Be responsible for the overall content updates process ensuring the content in EY VALITAX is up to date with latest legislation at all times
• Support the product team with timely and relevant insights into upcoming VAT legislation allowing them to plan development cycles accordingly
• Support the product team with development of relevant tax scenarios for (regression) testing
• Be involved in actively mentoring and counseling your team members

To qualify for the role you must have

• 
  A Master’s Degree in a business-related discipline or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Tax
• 5+ years of relevant experience working in indirect tax
• Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset;
