Job Description & Summary

With the full support of our Corporate Financial Advisory team (CFA), you will be in connection with the business and the operating companies of the group to proactively propose the best solutions for any financial challenges they might have. From the excitement of potential deals to the complexity of managing the Balance sheet related aspects, you will help to maintain the trust and reinforce the Advisory skills of our CFA department and Finance Division.

What will you do

  • You will manage M&A projects with the support from the Head of Corporate Finance
  • You will be actively managing stakeholders expectations and build strong relationship with stakeholders within the company.
  • You will take part in various internal initiatives to assist senior management
  • You will direct and manage a smaller team (functional and direct reporting) providing wider support to staff
  • You will be responsible for supervising and reviewing financial analysis and complex modeling with the team members
  • You will set, monitor and control budgets and other any other reporting requirements
Qualifications


Who are you, What are you able to

  • You have university degree or similar (3rd degree in Finance is a plus)
  • You have a min of 5 years experience in Financial Advisory (Corporate Finance)
  • Sector specific (Banking industry in Finance or risk) / Financial consulting and/or external audit experience is not required but is a plus
  • Your are able to present valuation/modeling findings to senior management and focus on what really matters to allow for informed decision
  • You are able to build a a network with your peers internally and with are comfortable discussing financially related business issues
  • On top of your strong numerical and analytical skills, you have also demonstrated sound strategic thinking skills.
  • You have excellent report english writing skills
  • You are an independent thinker who identifies problems and contribute to solutions
  • You have proven your ability to work on a range of projects simultaneously with demanding timetables
  • You are highly motivated, ambitious self starter with a team player mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, open communication and a sense of humour
  • You have drive and the time momentum to deliver results under strechted deadline and fully agile to adapt to the unforseen, including the capacity to flex work with the team.
  • Fluent english. Second language : Dutch or French
