Job Req Number: 63269Time Type: Full TimeCustoms SpecialistMove forward as Customs Specialist at DSV in Puurs.About The RoleAs a customs specialist, you will be responsible for performing all customs formalities required in the import, transit and export of goods.Duties
  • You inform customers and internal stakeholders regarding customs formalities;
  • Handling of customs files, contact with customs services.
  • Preparation of import files
  • Correct processing of customs declarations
  • Handling and follow-up of customs files (writing)
  • You process customs declarations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, liaise with customs and perform quality control on the handling of customs formalities;
  • You are the point of contact for - internal departments regarding customs formalities and answer questions/advise if necessary.

  • You have a first working experience within customs
  • Knowledge of different customs documents (T1, ATR, import, export)
  • Plus point if you have knowledge of Descartes (customs system)
  • You are structured, orderly and accurate
  • You have a strong knowledge of Dutch and English
  • You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment
