Who is b2boost?

B2boost is a Belgium company with 20 years of experience in technologies. We design, develop, and operate sophisticated B2B automated solutionsfor the Retail, Telecom, Entertainment, and other industries. We are providing automatization on: E-invoicing, EDI and the Data insight all over the world.

Who is your future Team?

You will join Jérôme’s team, your future colleagues will be Fréderic, Jan, Muriel and Gilles located at La Hulpe near Brussels! Our office is in the Co-working space Buzzy Nest.


What will be your missions as a backend developerwith us?

  • Create specifications and unit tests that will verify your implementation
  • Use your IT background to create, innovate, develop, and bring your very own piece of the puzzle
  • Be part of a project team fulfilling the development and design aspects of the solution
  • Break down the features and tasks and estimate the work that it will take to finalize the features up to deployment.
  • Deliver the best business value to the end customer while complying to the company’s best practices and conventions (SDLC)
  • Document your solutions to communicate relationships between components, deployment units, actors in the system, collaborating classes, and sequence of operations.
  • Comply with established devops practices and take ownership of this process for your assigned developments.
  • Provide insight into 2nd level support for investigation and debugging
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

Technical knowledge required: Java Ecosystem, Spring & user level Linux

Requirements

How do we imagine our future Backend developer ?

  • You hold a degree in computer sciences (bachelor or master)
  • You have a first relevant professional experience with Java, SQL and Spring
  • You areeager to learn new programming languages/frameworks next to us
  • You are fluent in English
  • Experience with Grails, Groovy, Docker or Qlick sense is a plus
  • You are autonomous and a problem solver
  • Experience with AWS, Cloud and/or API development is a plus
  • You would like to work in an agile environment
  • You are motivated ️
