Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Ghent,Belgium - Hybrid working model.

Job Type: Permanent / Payroll

Language requirements : Dutch , English is beneficial to have

Management and maintenance of the development infrastructure
Cost-effective management of the VM server
farm 3 rd party software updates (OS, antivirus, Progress, Oracle…)
Database installations, migrations and upgrades for all variants of Windows/Linux, Progress/Oracle, Western European/Eastern European/UTF-8
Maintenance and optimization of the Jenkins builds and automatic deployments in all environments
Daily follow-up of the nightly Jenkins tasks
Maintenance of the status dashboards (Automatic) creation of installers for both Windows (InstallShield) and Unix (scripts)
Exploring the capabilities of Docker and introducing where efficiency can be increased Implementation and execution of security, memory leak and performance testing + monitoring and alarms
Research into performance problems
Assistance to developers and testers with IT-related issues; documentation of all processes and solutions
Maintenance of setup scripts for development environments
Creation and installation of test environments
Optimizing telecommuting solutions Anonymized retrieval and recovery of customer databases for various purposes (incident reproduction, performance research, upgrade testing…)

Bachelor or Master Degree IT or equivalent
