The API-team is a young team which supports the strategic goals of Open Banking. We build the capabilities and services to offer our products also in the channels of external partners. We are working in an fast-moving and innovative environment where were are committed to deliver performant and stable products to satisfy maximally our partners needs. The teams consists currently out of 20-25 people and supports, next to Open Banking, also Multibanking (where we enable adding Ofi-accounts in our digital channels). The focus of this resource request is mainly on designing the Open Banking solutions.

You are a bridge between business and IT and will facilitate the team to come to aligned business requirements according to an iterative approach.
You will not be in the lead of requirements gathering but you will take an active approach to translate the business goals to IT solutions (including a impact analysis and cost estimation).
You work out different alternatives and will evaluate them on the basis of their pros and cons and the match with budget, scope & timing constraints.
You make sure that you solution is discussed and agreed with the different stakeholders and approved by sponsor and the different project governance-fora.
You hand over your work to a functional designer who will make the detailed functional design.
You will do the necessary follow-up that project is according to the specifications that have been agreed.
You will facilitate the team when implementing the solution.

You can capture and understand business needs (and you are also able to challenge them).
You can translate them in good IT-solutions (taking into account the boundaries of scope, budget and timing).
You have experience in system architecture (you can define the architecture what needs to be developed, in what systems and how they will interact)
You have a strong analytical mind.
You are a strong communicator that is able to communicate fluently to different stakeholders and adapt your story according to the needs (in English and/or Dutch).
You can convince your audience based on your story and your clear arguments.
You follow strictly the deadlines of the project governance. Experience with ArchiMate & UML is a plus.
Experience with Agile Methodologies / SAFe is a plus
You are not afraid of a fast moving environment where you are pioneering
You can deal with strict deadlines
Training will be mostly on-the-job, based on the experience you have.
