About The Job

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will support The Crypto Management and Distributions Authority Cell which is responsible for the whole lifecycle control of all Cryptographic keys and equipment held in the NATO enterprise. You will manage Crypto Accounts (audits, inventories, access), perform duties as Central Key Distribution Authority, support all NATO exercises with the key distribution and perform Crypto Compliance audits.

About You

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Engineer (Crypto Services) with a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of post-related experience.

A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

You Should Also Have
  • Extensive experience with:
  • Cryptographic Systems, design, management and implementation of modern Cryptographic systems and applications
  • Communication and Information Security
  • COMSEC principles and practices, including physical security standards relating to COMSEC
  • analysis of risk and in the implementation and integration of INFOSEC protective measures
  • latest Virtualization Technologies
  • Very good knowledge of modern communication and Internet Protocol (IP) based networking technologies and systems including security aspects and of CRYPTO accounting and distribution systems
  • Working knowledge of the operation of communications systems and troubleshooting techniques
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
