As a Facility and Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator, you will be responsible on the one hand for managing our facilities and on the other hand making sure we are in line with regulatory and Group rules regarding Health, Safety & Environment.
- You develop and manage the strategy and annual objectives regarding Health, Safety & Environment, Security, Facilities Infrastructure, Maintenance, Utilities and ISO, in line with our Group’s requirements.
- You follow up the HSE & Facility budget, making proposals for both the short and long term.
- You oversee and coordinate Health, Safety & Environment programs and projects for all our operations in Belgium (headquarter offices as well as 3 dealerships/garages).
- You execute risk analyses and - together with the business - define the Global Prevention Plan and Annual Action Plan. You ensure a practical follow-up of the detected problem areas.
- You take responsibility for the full legal management of environmental obligations and the ISO14001 certification.
- You hold the position of prevention advisor and will assist the employer with the application of the legal and regulatory provisions regarding the well-being of the employees in the performance of their work.
- You are responsible for facility wide security, grounds, housekeeping and facility maintenance programs.
- You organize training sessions on safety risks and facility projects for the benefit of staff in order to keep them optimally informed.
- You develop good relationships with all on site operations & management and collaborate with our external service Prevention and Protection at work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, etc.)
- 2 to 5 years experience in Health & Safety
- 3 to 5 years experience in Facility Management
- Certification as Prevention Advisor - training will and can be offered by the organisation
- Project Management, trades and contractors experience
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in preparing financial operational budgets
- Prior experience working for an international company with a multicultural team preferred
- Organizational skills
- Computer, MS Office, MS Project and database-management
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate and convince colleagues and/or external parties
