Job Purpose and Impact

The Feedmerchant will handle a customer base and contribute to the PNL by selling feed commodities and other products in line with risk management. We seek an experienced professional for a customer facing role and interested in the feed/grain space with understanding of supply chain and market/ data analysis. Key Accountabilities

Sell feed commodities from our Cargill Starches, Sweetners and Texturisers plants to regional customers. Execute upon the gameplan in line with risk management and maintain/grow customer relationships
Collaborate with transportation and logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and credit manager to ensure efficient execution.
Originate, procure and sell commodities and livestock to regional customers to reach targetvolumes and gain revenue.
Generate market, position and profit and loss reports based on data and specialty reports gathered by junior team members.
Research and analyze various freight opportunities in the marketplace to maximize margin.
Work directly with customers, suppliers and business counterparts in developing business solutions to meet their needs.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
Fluent Dutch and English

Strong negotiation skills and relationship building capabilities

Acquainted with modern communication and office tools, such as Microsoft office, sfdc, sap
