Job Description

24SEA is a company specialised in structural health monitoring of different big structures with

the main focus on offshore wind turbines. 24SEA is founded in 2016 as a spin-off company of

the VUB and has built a strong and reliable reputation ever since. As the company is growing

together with its sector, we are looking forward to extending our project team. You will be

part of a small, dynamic team that carries out projects from A to Z. Whitin this team you will

be responsible for following tasks:

  • You verify the quality of the systems before and after installation (Factory en Site

Acceptance Tests)

  • You install the systems in the turbines (on land or at sea, internationally)
  • You implement improvements in the system design or in the working methods
  • You are responsible for the management of the workshop and logistics
  • You assemble and cable the measuring systems (will be outsourced for large projects)
  • In time you can take the lead in a number of O&M projects

Profile

You possess following professional skills:

  • BSc in electromechanics, electrotechnics or other related technical degree
  • Profound knowledge of electricity
  • Basic computer skills (MS office)
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical drawing packages is a plus
  • Basic sysadmin and PLC programming experience is a plus

  • You can work independently and take initiative
  • You have a good technical understanding and analytical ability to solve problems in
  • the field
  • You are flexible and have no problem traveling abroad for short periods
  • You have an eye for detail
  • You can work in a structured way and follow schedules
