A leading international company specializing in the distribution and sales of automotive parts and accessories is seeking an experienced Finance & Administration Manager for its operations in Oost-Vlaanderen. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial performance. You will report directly to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support accounting teams (Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Accounts Payable).
  • Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting, ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders (auditors, tax authorities, legal advisors).
  • Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote best financial practices across the organization.
  • Oversee financial integration processes for strategic acquisitions.
  • Participate in digital transformation projects.
  • Provide financial support to internal business units such as sales, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to management.
  • Optimize cost structures and improve cash flow management.
Skills:

  • Masters degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance or auditing roles.
  • Strong expertise in Belgian GAAP; additional knowledge of US GAAP or international standards is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across business units.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and efficient, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Critical thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving and adaptability to changing environments and priorities.
  • Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of other MS Office tools is an asset.
  • Experience with financial software such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable
