Role And Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Promoting Food Safety within the Herentals production plant
  • Develop, implement and maintain the RedZone compliance standards and system.
  • Investigation of supplier complaints, customer complaints and internal non conformances.
  • Work closely with operations to resolves manufacturing issues relating to Food Safety.
  • Liaising with maintenance and projects on site improvements relating to Food safety and GMP.
  • Liaison with 3rd party service providers on food safety systems including pest control, cleaning chemicals and warehousing services.
  • Support and training on food safety to production and warehousing teams.

Knowledge And Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the food industry with proven abilities in achieving results by leadership and building relationships.
  • Degree in science preferably Food
  • Level 4 Certificate in HACCP principles.
  • Advance Level Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Knowledge of HACCP / GFSI standards, and other international standards as applicable to the job role (e.g. ISO 9001).
  • Work well under pressure
  • Team player, constructive and positive approach, well organized with a proactive “can do” attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Have a flexible approach to work.
  • Computer skills: ERP systems, MS Office
