Your role

As a Senior HR Officer you are the first point of contact for employees and you provide HR advice with regard to wages and employment conditions, application of collective labor agreements, payroll administration, etc.

  • You are the first point of contact for questions from employees (regarding employment contract, wages, time registration, leave, training, time credit, ...)
  • You coordinate various HR processes, such as onboarding of the new colleagues.
  • You draw up the employment contract for a new employee and take care of the contract signing (go over all documents and provide the employee with sufficient information about the employment contract, work regulations, group and hospitalization insurance, etc.).
  • You ensure that all HR administration is in line with legal standards and internal procedures.
  • You support the HR Business Partners in various HR projects and plan activities.
  • You stay informed of the evolutions in the field of social legislation and within HR.
  • You strive for the simplification of existing HR processes, procedures and forms.

Your profile

  • You have a hands-on and result-oriented attitude.
  • You can set priorities and are analytical.
  • You are proficient in working with MS Office.
  • You have knowledge of social legislation and payroll (blue collar is a plus).
  • You are proactive, communicative and have a healthy dose of empathy.
  • You quickly build trusting relationships with others.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  • Discretion is a matter of course.

  • Contract type: freelance
  • Work regime: 4 to 5 days a week. If experienced, 3 days may be possible as well.
  • Duration: 5 months
  • Location: West Flanders / remote
