About the team and position:

We are actively looking for a GL Accountant Holdings to strengthen our Holding Finance team. You will be an important member of a small team and report to our Finance Director Holdings.

As a GL Accountant Holdings, you are responsible for accurate and complete reporting of the group holdings. More than just a diploma, we are looking for a personality!

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least three years of experience in a similar role preferably in an international environment.
• You are analytically strong and can go deeper into the details while overseeing the bigger picture.
• Knowledge of IFRS and BE GAAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• You are accurate, organised, flexible and pro-active.
• You have strong communication skills, practising active listening and clear expression of ideas.
• Willingness to take ownership, take initiative and strive for quality.
• You are a real team player.

Responsibillities

• Independently manage general and analytical accounting under the supervision of the Finance Director Holdings.
• Reallocate costs between the various group companies.
• Monitor, reconcile and match accounts.
• Preparing monthly and year-end closings.
• Responsible for correct and timely reporting of the consolidation Holding.
• Support with forecasting, budget preparation & management reporting.
• Handling VAT & tax declarations.
• Capex review and reporting.
• Financial controlling.
• Implement and follow departmental accounting procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.
• Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality service.
