Description of the function

Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of new employees. Responsible for all operations of the company in the absence of the General Manager. Must ensure company compliance with all regulations and other government entities having direction and control over operations. Responsible for day-to-day flow of operations including vehicle and chauffeur scheduling and implementing systems and procedures to enhance productivity. Will also consult with potential clients regarding pricing, the preparation of quotations and the handling of routine business correspondence. Will prepare maps for drivers, arrange parking and overnight accommodations as needed. Responsible for government compliance issues related to personnel files and record keeping.


Profile description

Previous management experience in the transportation business is required. Must have Windows experience as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks. Must have Internet skills sufficient for basic destination research and mapping programs. Knowledge of Belgian highways, tourist attractions and popular sports arenas throughout Belgium is required.
