Main tasks

As a GL accountant at Boortmalt, you will be responsible for a to z accounting for one of our divisions. Together with your team, you will also be managing and reporting the financial information for all stakeholders, and improve and maintain control systems.

Your main tasks:
  • Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are following standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation
  • Contribute to a correct representation of the general accounting of the company
  • Handle the monthly declaration of VAT, Intrastat, balance of payments and listings and maintain contact with the relevant government authorities
  • Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and carry out the BS reconciliations
  • Take care of the monthly intercompany confirmation/transactions
  • Prepare the internal and external audits
  • Respond adequately to queries from the company regarding financials
  • Proactively inform the Teamlead on relevant trends and developments
  • Closely liaise with different teams within the company: sales, treasury, controlling, auditors,..
  • Comply with the Boortmalt goals and improvements

Master we are looking for ? Master recherché
  • You have minimum 3 years experience in a to z accounting.
  • Full proficiency of microsoft office (excel), knowledge of JDE, Isabel or Connexis is a plus
  • Language skills: Proficient in Dutch and English.
  • Bachelor degree in finance, or equal by experience
