SUMMARY
Manage BU programs to achieve organizational, financial, technical, and business objectives, while ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded, primarily accomplished through matrix management. Cross functional position, across different regions, the program Manager is coordinating customer’s project from the request of quotation till start of production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate and connect to internal and customer teams
• Build and manage projects planning and deliverables of the APD (= Accelerated Product Development) process
• Improve and create the processes in sales operation to increase efficiency in the Engine OE organization
• Support sales and engineering to defend the offer
• Monitor financial parameters: product margin, manage NRE & Tooling payment, cost reductions over life-time of the products
• Support and manage the product pipeline together with the Regional Sales Managers.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree or equivalent through experience in engineering
• +3 years of experience in program management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully within a diverse international team
• Excellent planner and coordinator, prepares detailed schedules to achieve program objectives
• Directs and monitors the activities of the project team
• Pro-actively resolves problems internally and externally, promotes team cooperation
• Able to get things done within the company
• Understands, applies and serves as a process expert for APQP/APD
• Remains persistent and resilient in the face of obstacles, and for projects that last over an extended period of time
• Acts as customer’s point of contact, translates customer requirements to specific tasks
• Fundamental knowledge of customer’s overall business practice, and of Engine products and their applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch
• Able to travel to other Donaldson locations and customers.
