Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Group Accounting Managerfor a permanent position based in Zaventem.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the aviation sector.

As Group Accounting Manageryou will be responsible for:

Ensure compliance of Belgian entities (5) with statutory requirements including BE GAAP, IFRS and Tax:
- Lead IFRS conversion project for Belgian entities;
- Ensure IFRS and BE GAAP compliance for the Belgian entities;
- Manage the relationship with external auditors and tax advisor;
- Responsible for statutory monthly closing;
Responsible for BE GAAP and IFRS expertise at group level;
Drive improvement of accounting processes and controls:
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities;
- Lead and improve accounting processes for Belgian entities;
- Ensure efficient controls;
Coach and develop Belgian accounting team;
Ad Hoc support and projects.

The required profile for the Group Accounting Managerposition:

Education :Master or equivalent by experience;

Languages : fluent in English and Dutch and/or French and a good command of the other language;

Skills / Experience :

8-10 years’ work experience including accounting and/or audit manager with BE GAAP and IFRS exposure;
Strong leadership skills;
Big 4 experience a plus.
