FonctionThe HDigital Applications Manager role exists to ensure that a stable and accessible platform of core applications is available to our users at all times, and that this platform evolves with the needs of the users.
An Overview Of Your Duties
Coordination and management of all HDigital Applications related activities within HC Benelux:
- Working with business users, Key Users, local Process Owners and local IT colleagues to gather and record relevant local business requirements in a central location. Ensuring that business requirements are valid and fully documented and that duplicate, poorly defined or otherwise inappropriate requests are challenged and eliminated or improved as needed
- Effective management of reports in both countries, including ensuring coverage of all main functions for day to day support as well as development of expertise through training and knowledge sharing.
- Local coordination of relevant release cycles, including quarterly ERP releases, as well as weekly or emergency releases. Ensuring that these release calendars are harmonised and are published to all relevant parties. Coordinating and conducting regression and functional testing and driving user engagement in the process to ensure the highest quality of pre-release testing (including periodic weekend activities) and post implementation support
- Continuously driving automation efforts to reduce the testing burden, and broader opportunities for improvement in the absence of user demand
- Working closely with other applications colleagues to ensure suitable interfaces between applications – including their continued functioning during system upgrades
- Working closely with local IT colleagues and requestors to review and respond to new business demands with workable and timely solutions
- Working closely with Group colleagues in the preparation of project delivery, including master data preparation, configuration, cutover planning, documentation, training and post go-live support.
- Conducting and supervising regular quality checks in order to deliver stable and reliable end to end business processes
- Assisting users in managing application issues using best practice and agreed ways of working
- Maintaining the integrity of the applications environment by following and enforcing leading standards in relation to access rights, segregation of duties, quality control, security.
- Controlling the relevant applications budget including regular reporting on actual and projected spend
The Profile We Are Looking For
- Degree in a business or technical field (or comparable qualifications/experiences)
- Experience of line management
- Demonstrated professional experience in SAP peripherals (Interfaces, Add-On, etc.) in an international industrial enterprise
- Ability to be assertive in enforcing high standards, able to work independently when needed, and resilient in a fast moving environment
- Very good knowledge in module SD and at least in one of the modules FI, CO, MM, PP (customising as well as a good understanding of total end-to-end business processes)
- Knowledge and experience of defining and implementing best practice process improvement and leveraging business functionality of SAP
- Well-developed communication skills, scrupulous approach to organization, documentation and reporting
- Familiar with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Familiar with Business Process administration and tools (e.g. Visio), the ability to identify Process gaps and create solution proposals
- Ability and willingness to work in an international and multicultural environment with emphasis on service orientation
- Knowledge of the interfaces within SAP architecture as well as to connected external systems is an advantage
- Ability to constructively challenge business processes and requests and demonstrate benefits of standardised solutions
- Willingness to regularly provide support to end-users
- Flexibility, willingness to travel, and to support weekend releases when required
- NL/FR – very good English language skills
Our client is active in the industrial sector and produces a wide range of quality products in the construction industry. Currently, they are looking for a HDigital Applications Manager who speaks Dutch and French! English is a big plus!
