To reinforce its team, Full-life Technologies is looking for a (m/f):Head of R&D – Radiochemist.
Responsibilities:
As a Head of R&D - Radiochemist, you coordinate the development programs of the company’s products portfolio.Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, advise the top management on driving innovation to meet the company’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- You drive the company’s products portfolio in line with the global strategy.
- You monitor the progress of the research team and projects.
- You optimize the production processes in terms of yield, quality, safety, waste, and cost.
- You coordinate external partners for outsourcing part of the R&D activities.
- You manage the development of processes according the GMP standards.
- You advise the Chief Scientific Officer on new products that could be generated.
- You stay on top of the new scientific and technical developments.
- You report your work evolution to the top management on a regular basis.
Profile:
- PhD in Radiochemistry, or equivalent.
- 10+ years’ experience in development of radioisotope production for nuclear medicine.
- Experience with various source of irradiation, ideally with particle accelerator(s).
- Experience in handling irradiating starting material and radioactive waste, and in the production of medical isotopes using cyclotron and particle accelerator.
- Self-motivated, you can work in a dynamic/ fast growing team with global standards.
- Strong analytical, innovation and organizational skills, results and solutions orientation.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- To possess an international research network is an advantage.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
