Your Profile:
  • You are fluent in English (TME business language)
  • You have good knowledge/experience of :
  • Test & evaluation Engineering
  • Project Management
  • Regulatory knowledge and follow-up
  • Certification & Type Approval
  • Authorities procedures
  • Knowledge of Regulations and application
  • You have a master in Engineering - specialization : Automotive (Ideal but not a must)
  • You have minimum 2 years of experience in Homologation and Regulation

Your team and your responsibilities:
Develop a Homologation “Control Tower” which makes sure that all accessories and parts developed by Value Chain or other regions are compliant with EU regulations and have the required certification to sell them in all countries under control of TME.

Your responsibilities:
  • Homologation Project Management
    • Coordination of Homologation activities
    • Liaison between TMC & TME Design Divisions to ensure smooth project execution
    • Input homologation data in different Toyota systems : ATA (Access to Accessories) ,ACC360 , CPT (Collaborative planning tool), MMS (Mass management System)
  • Regulatory Compliance to ECE/EC standards
    • Design compliance check for locally designed parts/accessories (arrangement, organisation and check)
  • Organise Static & Dynamic testing of accessories.
    • Official witness tests for safety & environment and wind tunnel tests utilising a combination of "in house" and "external" facilities
  • Certification to ECE/EC standards
    • Obtaining WVTA, MSTA and ECE/EC system certification
  • Homologation Support for accessories and parts to National distributors (NMSC’s).
    • To ensure that the NMSC’s have all the documentation to ensure no registration/sales delays for all Toyota and Lexus models installed with accessories or parts.
  • Managing and follow up on IMDS (International Material Data System) data input by suppliers.
