About Our Client

Our customer operates in 10 countries and currently employs around 800 collaborators globally. In order to support their growth, we are currently looking for a HR Business Partner who will be supporting employees, coworkers and the top management in Belgium and The Netherlands.

Job Description

As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the following:

  • You provide guidance to employees and managers making sure people get the necessary HR services to be successful in their job

  • You lead different operations within the HR spectrum so that the organisation achieves its business objectives including workforce planning, talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, talent management, employee evaluation, learning & development programs

  • You build and maintain constructive relationships with Unions and staff representatives

  • You work closely with the management and employees making sure to create a productive environment and maximise retention

  • You collect and analyze HR trends and metrics within the business and oversee workforce and succession planning

  • You evaluate the existing learning program, identify training needs for teams and individuals and suggest new strategies

  • You coach and guide a payroll officer and make sure all HR procedures are well defined and followed

  • You act as an ambassador of the company internally as well as externally and report to the Managing Director (locally) and to the HR Director (group level)

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience

  • You have more than 5 years of experience in a generalist HR position

  • You are fluent in Dutch and English

  • You have a real hands-on mindset and can come up with ideas and initiatives with few guidance

  • You have a very good knowledge of the Belgian social legislation, any experience with the applicable legislation in the Netherlands is considered as a huge asset

  • You ideally have a first experience supporting coworkers in a production environment

  • You remain mobile and open to travel to The Netherlands (Eindhoven) twice a month
