De ORAC GROUP, bestaande uit ORAC NV en NEAFORMA NV, vormt een dynamische familiale KMO met een hart voor interieurdecoratie en industriële kunststoftoepassingen. Vanuit haar hoofdzetel in Oostende ontwikkelt, produceert en verkoopt ORAC hoogwaardige interieuroplossingen in 5 productgroepen: plinten, indirecte verlichting, multifunctionele lijsten, kroonlijsten en decoratieve elementen in kunststof. ORAC telt meer dan 300 medewerkers (Oostende, Slovakije en Rusland) en is actief in meer dan 90 landen.


HR in ORAC

ORAC is a fast growing family owned global company, specialized in giving walls personality. This means that we are developing, producing and selling a wide range of wall covering items that will blow your mind and that inspire anyone form end-user to influencer. We are a company that believes in the power of growing together with our partners and (re)sellers. ORAC’s organization structure contains 3 elements: customer teams (sales business units), plants and the hub (centralized services, in other companies known as ’HQ’). The HR department was founded in 2017 and quickly focused on the fast business growth with adding many new oracians. Now, ORAC has created a new vacancy of HR bp, in order to further professionalize the HR department.

What will you do?

Your employee population is dual: firstly, you handle to the best interest of all our customer teams based in Europe (BENELUX, UK, FR, DE, SP, +/- 30 employees total). You will be the first ever dedicated HR partner for the customer teams. Secondly, all HQ teams are under your wings (Finance, Marketing, ICT, supply chain +/- 30). At ORAC, we call HQ teams HUB teams.


As an HR BP in ORAC, you work in all HR domains as a generalist. You coordinate the whole HR cycle in your sphere: from recruitment to offboarding. Finding TOP talent for ORAC is where you have the greatest business impact. This means you help and co-educate managers along the selection/recruiting process and you co-decide with them about our new oracians as key and valued partner in the hiring team.


Your HR projects will be focused on implementing new HR processes or finetuning existing processes. This includes

  • Aligning performance management processes to the international standards.
  • Shifting to a more digitally connected HR office.
  • Installing salary cycles.
  • Auditing of payroll partners and changing if necessary.

You are a true business partner that helps install a true Oracian working spirit.


Because the HR department is growing: possible future growth paths include specialization in 1 hr field (comp & ben, learning & development, recruitment,…) or hierarchical growth (hr manager position) according to your strengths and interest.

What is your profile?

  • You have a proven very good skill in selection
  • You have a strong first experience in the HR field or a similar international managerial experience (focus on recruitment & selection is primordial).
  • You are curious and strong learn-oriented
  • You have a good organizational awareness and understand business needs of strong autonomous business stakeholders.
  • Your English command is excellent. French at an intermediate – good level is a strong plus.
  • You are an honest communicator on all hierarchical levels.
  • You know how to build a network amongst all stakeholders (eg recruitment partners,…)
  • You are willing to travel occasionally to the customer teams (max 2-3 trips/year, voluntary extra trips are definitely possible, but not a must. Trips are subject to your own planning)
