Who are you?

You are a legal professional who knows labor law inside out. Many seek your expert advice on internal HR policies and practices, and you make sure they’re implemented to the letter of the law.

You proactively follow up on legal questions and are up to speed on the changes in Belgian and European labor law & social regulations. You would enjoy leading taskforces on a variety of HR topics and play an important role in broader HR projects, depending on your interests and growth path.

We are looking for an HR Legal Advisor with a genuine interest in more general HR. Could that be you?

Who are we?

We are the HR team: a close-knit group of about 25 HR professionals. You can find our team spread over the different delaware offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège or Wavre.

With more than 1,200 consultants in Belgium alone – ranging from youngsters to Generation Y and silver foxes – you can imagine that every one of them has different needs and expectations when it comes to HR. They come to us with a broad variety of questions on compensation, benefits, social security, but also on contracts and our HR policies.

Add to this a dose of ever-changing employment legislation, and challenges in shaping the new ways of working, you’ll get why we need a Legal Advisor with knowledge of social and labor laws to assist us. Don’t worry, you won’t have to do this on your own - you can count on the support of experienced HR colleagues!

Is there a match?

Let’s see. If you…

  • ·obtained a master’s degree in Law (specialization/expertise in Labour Law);
  • have at least 3 years of experience as an inhouse legal counsel;
  • are interested in participating or sinking your teeth into other HR related projects, besides your work as a Legal Advisor. These projects can be strategic or operational – just tell us what you’re passionate about!
  • can be the go-to person in case of mitigation
  • are proactive, pragmatic and assertive, but above all, a people person;
  • are a native Dutch or French speaker who’s also fluent in English;
