Job Overview And Responsibilities
Support the implementation of a full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, and employee relations, and other corporate programs. Main countries of scope is France and other international European countries, and support to EMEIA countries. Provide assistance and guidance to line and staff management in the interpretation of policies local law work rules and procedures to assure consistent application. Will also have overall responsibility for the management of HR issues and programs in the given country. Reporting to EMEIA HR Manager
This role could be located in either France, Belgium, Spain or Italy
Recruitment & Retention
- Plan and conduct recruitment & selection exercise with hiring managers
- Interview and help select successful candidates with hiring department and business partner
- Prepare employment letters, coordinate with Payroll, process file number, new hire forms and conduct New Hire Orientation session with new employees
- Monitoring the workplace for compliance with our harassment and discrimination policy and liaison with the training department for the provision of related education programs
- Conduct exit interview and provide feedback to managers on the comments collected from exit surveys
- Conduct staff turnover analysis on a quarterly basis
- Maintain up-to-date workforce statistics for manpower/succession planning
- Analyze data to meet various manpower plans
- Keep abreast of the regulatory changes that may impact the company’s HR policies & program
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Provide data analysis and reports for all HR related information. Verify monthly payroll and pay vouchers
- Liaise with service vendors on annual review and renewal and regularly monitor vendors’ service standard
- Analyze data and consolidate survey data and communicate survey results to participants
- Support the implementation of corporate incentive programs such as On-time bonus, AIP, Profit Sharing and Perfect Attendance, etc.
- Arrange communication session to explain new corporate programs as well as briefing sessions for service vendors
- Manage and administer local employee benefit scheme, such as child care voucher program
- Conduct internal survey in collecting employee feedback on existing benefit plans
- Review and monitor benefit plans/remuneration calculation methodology to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements
- Computation and compilation of estimate cost impact for merit review programs for local country
- Conduct research and survey among the interline HR professionals to obtain most updated information on compensation & benefits programs
- Prepare and consolidate required AIP data for local country
- Work closely with the vendor to verify monthly payroll data and allowances and pay vouchers for local country
- Data analysis of attrition and sick leave statistics
- Plan and organize community service activities with charitable organizations for co-workers’ voluntary participation
- Communicate and encourage co-workers’ participation in charitable activities available in the community, such as charity walk
- Solicit vendors in meeting employees’ needs, e.g. voluntary insurance, health screening, H1N1 vaccination, flu injection program, etc.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of experience in HR field or role with heavy HR responsibilities
- Good analytical skills and communication skills
- Knowledge of France local labor laws and unions
- Available to travel 10 % of the time
- Must be legally authorized to work in France, Belgium, Spain or Italy for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- 10 years of HR experience or role with heavy HR responsibilities
- Fluent in other european languages
