Your mission

As an Industrialization/Mechanical Engineer, you will be able to influence the production processes of the future. Operations colleagues will depend on you to supportthem in their day to day manufacturing activities as well. Your tasks include:

  • Guide project teams as mechanical designerand support in the design, development and implementation of flexible and lean processes, state of the art techniques and efficient toolings.
  • Analyze and implement technical solutions in order to increase quality, productivity and speed within production.
  • Design, develop and implement flexible, lean processes and state of the art test solutions.
  • Influence the design for Automationand testability to ensure cost-effective test solutions and smooth production flows.
  • Point of contact for external contacts to support our projects.
  • Follow up evolutionsin mechanics /robotics /automation to stay a trendsetter in this area
  • Initiate and implementimprovement ideas
  • Support manufacturing teamswhere needed

Your experience

  • Master or bachelor in MechanicalEngineering ( specialized in automation is a plus).
  • Design Knowledge ofCREO
  • Mechanical design experience
  • Knowledge of safety and ergonomics during the design process
  • FMEA & DFA knowledge
  • Know how in optics, mechanics and visualization techniques and applications is a plus
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Teamplayer(you will work in a team of about 20 engineers) with a hands-on mentality (assemble tools)
  • Can work projectwise & independent
  • Fluent in Dutchand English
