• Market research about smart batteries:

The energy transition requires our society to rethink the we we consume energy. Time of use is very important in order to facilitate uptake of renewable energies in the energy system. In order to acquire more insights in the market of residential size batteries, we are looking for an intern who can perform a market research and benchmark existing solutions and make a blue ocean comparison of different businessmodels.

• Market research about the impact of smart buildings and advanced energy management systems on ESR indices:

In order to realize the energy transition it is needed to consume energy in a more intelligent manner. Real estate is a cornerstone in making the energy transition happen. Our buildings need to consume less energy but also consume energy in a more intelligent manner. Intelligent steering of technical installations are technically perfectly feasible. But the link towards the incentives for the financial markets are not yet clear. We would like to gain more insights in the impact of smart buildings technologies on CSR indices such as eg the dow jones sustainability index (but also other). The internship should start with a market research on the most relevant indices including a screening of the impact that smart building technology can have. The final result has to be a report with suggestions on how to improve the aug-e product portfolio and improve the offering to our clients.

• You want to do an ambitious start-up;
• You are studying a bachelor’s / master’s degree in electromechanics, energy, electricity or equivalent or in business management with an interest in sustainability;
• Your internship period must be at least 6 weeks full-time. Please mention your internship period in your application;
• You speak French/Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English;
• You have an analytical mind, autonomy and rigor;
• You are communicative, proactive and you are not afraid of being in direct intervention and cooperation with multiple stakeholders;
• You are flexible and you bounce back easily when faced with problems and challenges.
