Job Description

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the coordination of Telenet’s M&A processes
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of existing portfolio companies (investments or joint ventures)
  • Support in promoting, embedding and onboarding the portfolio companies within its relevant ecosystem to the best advantage of both Telenet and the portfolio companies
  • Provision of quantitative and qualitative analysis of acquisition targets, impact analysis on Telenet and support divestments
  • Support of due diligence activities and preparation of all documentation within the M&A project governance
  • Cooperation with internal, cross functional teams (finance, legal, business, communications, etc.) as required for each deal
  • Liaison with external advisors (mainly financial and legal)
  • Preparation of analysis and presentations of opportunities for Telenet’s Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team meetings and Liberty Global’s I nvestment C ommittee
  • Contributing to strategic assessments supporting M&A deals and partnerships
  • Market and competitor analysis
  • Modelling and forecasting for initiatives, including commercial appraisal of projects
  • Evaluation of risks and opportunities
  • Other duties as shall reasonably be requested
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Banking, Management Consulting or Advisory services background. Specific focus on M&A and/or telecommunications/media sector is an advantage
  • A strategic thinker with robust analytical skills
  • Financial modelling experience
  • Highly developed written and oral communications skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proactive and pragmatic – able to prioritise projects and agendas
  • A self-starter, able to work in a highly organised, structured way, deploying robust process management
  • High personal credibility
